About A3 and the Hosts
The origins of the A3 Footy Podcast started back in the winter months of 2018, when all three gentlemen (all named Alex) met up at a sports media course at Swinburne University. From early doors, these three wouldn't shut up about anything that was going on in the world of Aussie Rules Football - they live and breathe it. One afternoon during class, it was suggested by their teacher to start up a podcast... and thus the A3 Footy Podcast was born!

Four years and over 250 episodes later, the boys are still going strong, producing episodes about everything that's going on in both the AFL men's and women's landscapes, as only they can.
Alex Catalano
Cat is the man who opens and closes the show and is the consummate professional in the field of sports journalism. In saying that, it all goes out the window once his Bombers are out having a kick. You can read Cat's content at The Inner Sanctum.
Alex Docherty
Doc is a proud and passionate Western Bulldogs supporter... perhaps too passionate at times. On top of his vast knowledge of the men's game, he is A3's resident expert of women's football and heads the AFLW content at The Mongrel Punt.
Alex Miller
There's two things that Miller enjoys: A nice cold beverage and seeing his Richmond Tigers fight the football world one game at a time. Miller's knowledge for the present and the future of the game is second to none.
